Over a decade later, his elite form continued as he battled into the semi-finals of the 2019 U.S. Open Pool Championship, proving his staying power at the highest level.

He captured the 2014 Manny Pacquiao International Open Doubles title with Jeffrey Ignacio, reached the finals of the 2019 World Cup of Pool alongside Carlo Biado, and delivered a dramatic comeback with Roberto Gomez in the 2021 World Cup of Pool, toppling Team U.S.A. after an epic rally from 0-5 down.
